この間、アメリカ合衆国メリーランド州ボルチモア市で行われたASRM学会に参加してまいりました。
学会にて着床前診断（PGD）・次世代シーケンシング（NGS）をテーマにした卒後教育セミナーを受け、無事に終えました。面白い内容で、将来は全ての受精卵の為にNGSをするべきだと発表者は言っていました。
そして、今年話題になった「子宮内膜」のお話ですが、スペイン人の教授のCarlos A. Simon, MD.にお会い出来て大変嬉しかったです。
Simon先生と「子宮内膜着床能（ERA）検査」についてお話をして、子宮内膜の着床可能状態以外で胚移植をしてしまうと受精卵が、本当にモッタイナイと思いました。しかし、それも人によって異なります。
最終日に、Lisa Grossmanさんによる、「Knowledge of anti-mullerian hormone level provides reassurance of fertility potential for women delaying childbearing – 抗ミュラー管ホルモン（AMH）レベルの知識が出産を延期している女性に、受精能力の安心を与える」というプレゼンテーションを聞きに行きました。
内容は凄く面白く、一番驚いたことは、多くの女性が若いうちに卵子凍結を選択すると、保証はされていないが生児出生の成功率が増えるという情報を知っていても、若いうちに卵子凍結を選択しないということです。
今年の学会では色々な先生や専門家にお会いすることができ、最新の情報と技術を得ることができました。

ASRM 2015 Baltimore.
This year I attended the ASRM conference in Baltimore, I completed the Post Graduate Course titled “Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis (PGD) impact on reproductive outcome of poor prognosis ART patients with use of Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) for Aneuploidy: Is the time for routine testing here?’ very interesting seminars with most presenters agreeing that it makes sense to test all embryo’s in the future.
The other hot topic at ASRM is “the endometrium”, and I had the pleasure of meeting Professor Carlos A.
Simon, MD who talked about Endometrial Receptivity Assessment (ERA) and emphasizing the wasting of good quality embryos due to transferring outside the endometrial receptivity window and that this varies from patient to patient enormously.
On the last day I listed to an oral abstract that was very controversial, “Knowledge of anti-mullerian hormone level provides reassurance of fertility potential for women delaying childbearing” by Lisa Grossman, this was very interesting but I was surprised that a large percentage of women did not freeze their oocytes with this knowledge and that doing so younger although not guaranteed increases the chance of a successful live birth.
The conference was a great chance to meet Doctors and Fertility experts from all over the world with the latest information and new technologies.
