We are introducing state-of-the-art technology and have installed a reproduction center dealing with advanced reproductive medicine. In April of 2007, we extended the In Vitro Fertilization Lab to two rooms, and ensured that the capacity can support up to 20 OPU per day.
Incubator
Fertilized oocytes, immature oocytes, etc. are cultivated here.

It is used for work performed at a relatively low magnification such as oocyte inspection, freezing, and thawing. |
Cryopreservation Container
A container for cryopreserving embryos, oocytes, and sperm entrusted to us by patients. When stored in liquid nitrogen, the temperature inside reaches close to -200°. |
Clean Bench
Equipment for aseptic operation, including a stereomicroscope and an inverted microscope. Oocytes, sperm, and culture medium are all handled in this. |
Inverted Microscope
It is a type of microscope that observes an object from below, and is characterized by its high magnification. Most of the operations such as observation, microinsemination (ICSI), and AHA are performed using this microscope. |
Centrifuge
Used for washing sperm. |
Recovery Room: This is where you will rest and recover after outpatient surgery such as oocyte pick-up (OPU.)
Private accommodation: Private hospital rooms are available to those who wish to stay overnight at the Sumiyoshi, Osaka location. Rooms are equipped with bath, toilet, TV, mini-fridge, and towels.
You can stay from the previous evening if you wish, please ask the staff. Additional fees apply.
